Obituary for
Dr. Myron Stechishin
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Myron Stechishin at home on December 9, 2021 at the age of 86 years after a lengthy battle with Multiple System Atrophy.
Myron was born and raised in Saskatoon, where he completed his pre-dentistry studies at U of S before moving to Edmonton to graduate in dentistry at U of A.
He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Emily; children, Danovia (Scott), Gord, John, Greg (Yvonne) and Andrea (Deacon Anton); grandchildren, Eliajah, Gabriel, Konvalia, Jacob, Nicholas, John and Metta; and sister, Zenia.
Myron was predeceased by his first wife, Claudia; parents, Julian and Savella; and brother, Anatole.
A private family funeral has been held in his honour at St. Anthony’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church with Reverend Father Doctor Timothy Chrapko officiating.
