Douglas Bridgman Fawcett, age 50, of Stratford, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Wednesday, December 8 2021. Born in Dundas, ON, son of Dr. John and Mary (Richardson) Fawcett. Doug is survived by his wife Angela (Vogel) Fawcett, and his three daughters Paige, Abby and Leah. He is survived by his siblings Peter (Diane), Jim (Joanna) and Donald. Doug will be remembered by the Vogel family and the extended Fawcett family including his cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, December 19,2021 from 2-4 p.m. At the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford. A private family funeral service will take place on Monday, December 20, 2021. Those attending must provide proof of vaccination and face masks are mandatory. As expressions of sympathy, a trust fund has been set up for the three girls “Paige, Abby and Leah Fund” through the funeral home.
