Obituary of Dorothy Elaine Carr
At her residence, the death of Dorothy (Dot) Elaine Carr of Picadilly, NB, occurred Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the age of 90. Dot was born May 13, 1931 in Black’s Harbour, NB, daughter of Jesse and Lena (Wilcox) Gaudet. She was the wife of the late T. Glendon Carr (2005).
Dot is survived and sadly missed by one son, Gregory (Carol) of Sus Corner, daughters Anne (Doug) Beaumont of Upper Coverdale, Patricia (Pat) Seeley (Paul Carten) of Urney and Tereca Carr of Picadilly, NB; eight grandchildren, Elisa (Ken) Rogers, Brent (Missy) Carr, Corey Carr, Laura Ann Carr, Jayne Seeley (Adam Cusak), Jackie (Clint) Kelley, Jim Seeley, Jared Beaumont (Shelby Field); and fifteen great grandchildren Laura, Riley, Ella, Katie, Alex, Kenton, Klara, Seth, Jack, Sheala, Micheal, George, Anna, Marissa and Edward. She is also survived by one sister, Mary (Austin) Richardson of Black’s Harbour, sisters-in laws Georgie (Black’s Harbour) and Lola Gaudet (Windsor, ON) and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her good friend and neighbour, Jean Murray.
Dot was predeceased by infant son Stephen, infant grandchildren Christopher and Kathleen Carr, brothers Albert, Ernie, Jim, Maynard and Burton; sisters Marjorie, Myrtle and Belva.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 24 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 5-8 pm. A Celebration of Dot’s life will be held at the Sus Baptist Church, Church Avenue on Tuesday, June15, 2021 at 11:00 am. Due to Covid-19, please call the funeral home to reserve your seat. The interment will take place in Evergreen Memorial Park, Sus.
