Doris Raymond (nee Giroux) passed away peacefully in her 92nd year on December 30, 2020. She was the daughter of Onesime and Antoinette (nee Chartrand) Giroux, both predeceased. Wife of the late Phil Raymond (2016) and loving mother of Gilles (Alice), Robert, Paulette Chambers (Douglas), Giselle (Kevin) and Michael. Dear sister of Cecelia West, Rita Post and Theodore (all predeceased) and Colette Lacroix (Claude). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Christopher (Brigitte), Kimberly, Jason (Samantha) and Jonathan and her great grandchildren Hayden, Callianne, Everly, Dominique and Andre. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Doris resided in Levack for 48 years where she was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League, the church choir, and a Lay Minister at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church. The family wish to thank the staff of the Elizabeth Centre for their kindness and great care, especially Home Area 4. A memorial service and burial will take place at the family plot at Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling at a later date. A donation can be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.
