passed away peacefully at home in Hamilton peacefully on June 5th 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Despite her illness she fought a good fight and held on to her faith. Born in Jamaica on Dec. 9th, 1961 to parents Charles Perry (deceased) and Daisy Jones. Donnett spent her early years in Jamaica before moving to Canada. She is survived by her husband Wilbert Riley of 38 years. Lovingly remembered by Alman Jones (step-father), Brothers Winston King, Kenroy Jones, Dane Kamau Herakhuti, Tygur Defunk-Perry Charles Perry Jr, Donald Perry, Sisters Natasha Perry, Trevorlyn Brown, Step-Sister Colleen Roye, Sister-in-Laws Herma Riley, Sharlene King, Claudette Riley, Nephews Malcolm King, Miquel Walters, Alomar Riley, Kahmia Riley and Nieces Amanda Ebanks, Miquela Jones, Alissia Riley, Allison Riley. Donnett worked for the City of Hamilton before retiring. She was an active member of her church serving tirelessly as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer, bookkeeper and bible study facilitator. Serving her Saviour brought much joy to her and others. Her life was marked as a loving and gentle soul who demonstrated her commitment to others by faithfully following her Lord and Saviours teachings.
