Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Donald Hugh MacDonald of Glen Nevis; age 75 years. Dear brother of Lois Fleming (late Ron), Cameron MacDonald (Linda), and Faye Doxtater all of Cornwall, and Robert « Bert » MacDonald (Carol), and Kathy Thompson (Dale) both of Glen Nevis. Predeceased by one brother Douglas Joseph MacDonald, and by his parents John B. and Aileen MacDonald (nee MacDonell). He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Masks and social distancing requirements will be in effect during the visitation, and during the Funeral Mass. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
