Don had a lifelong passion for fishing and anything
to do with the water. He spent 20 years in the navy
finishing with the rank of Warrant Officer before moving back to PEI
to begin his second career as a fisherman. When he retired
from fishing he bought Malpeque Gardens where he was able to indulge
his other passion of growing things, something he learned growing up
on the family farm in Margate. He ran Malpeque Gardens as a
tourist attraction for several years alongside his wife, Ina and
daughter, Kim.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No
visitation by personal request. Interment in People’s
Cemetery, Kensington. If so desired contributions may be made to a
charity of your choice.
