DEAN, Donald Frederick John
Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General
Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of Georgina « Ina » Clark Dean
(Raitt). Devoted father of Norman Dean (Chanda) and Merriel
Dean (Tim Simard). Proud Grandad of Ember, Katlyn, Erin and
Ella. Predeceased by his parents Frank and May Dean, sister
Ruth and son Robert.
Don lived a life serving his God through
service with the Salvation Army, stationed in many different places
and roles across Canada as well as ten years overseas in Tanzania and
Kenya with his wife Ina. Upon retirement in1995 he devoted
much of his time to a couple of community churches including Corbetton
Community and Arkell United Church. His other passion was volunteering
at the Halton Radial Railway, where he got to drive refurbished
streetcars for the public to enjoy. He loved music, playing
the piano, organ, accordion and most brass instruments as well as
singing and leading the church choir. He made many friends along the
way and his legacy will live on in the many lives he touched over the
years.

on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel
at 1:00 p.m. Covid protocol, you must show proof of being
double vaccinated and government identification in order to attend.
