Divina passed away peacefully on September 18, 2021 at the age of 86. She will be deeply missed by her dear children, Franca (Douglas) and Robert (Josie). Forever loved by her grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew, Sabrina and Austin. Divina is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Mario and Ricchetta. Never forgotten by her siblings, Maria, Ida and Franca. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 22 ,2021 at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Autism Ontario Foundation or the McMaster Children’s Hospital.
As the restrictions and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the “Guest Book” and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. Our staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if any assistance is needed.
We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. This also includes the church and the cemetery.
Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to please meet us at the church.
As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
