Diane Isaac (nee Bryce)
March 4th, 1945 – February 12th, 2021
Passed away peacefully of Multiple System Atrophy at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo, Ontario in her 76th year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Bryan Isaac. Predeceased by parents Russell and Benedicta, sisters Doris and Helen, brothers Donald and Gordon. Beloved sister-in-law of Edna Bryce, Carmen Bryce, aunt of Cathy Derosier, Brenda Bryce, Janice Trotter, Bonnie Tice, Jay Bryce, Mike Bryce, and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Born in Sudbury Ontario, she also lived in Oakville and Kitchener. After university graduation, Diane went on to have a successful career first in local government in Kitchener then as an administrative assistant in Queen’s Park, Toronto. She returned to Kitchener to complete her career with CCAC. Diane loved to travel. Bryan and Diane spent many summers at their cottage in Point Clarke and loved getting ice cream and watching the sunset over Lake Huron. Diane, a member of Parkminster United Church, cared deeply about her community and spent many hours volunteering with Friends of Big Sisters.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Pinehaven for their compassionate care.
Diane’s family will receive friends and relatives at 2pm on Friday, February 19th at Henry Walser Funeral Home for visitation. Private service will follow immediately. Due to COVID restrictions, you must RSVP to the funeral home your attendance at the visitation online or at 519-749-8467. Note: masks are mandatory.
