Dennis “Denny” Albert Fifield of Balls Creek, passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney on November 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Edward and Maude (Burge) Fifield.
He was a long time executive member of Local 2 Bricklayers Union and most recently a member of Local He celebrated 50 years of dedicated service within the Bricklayers Union. Denny was a very proud to represent the Cape Breton Chapter of the Highlanders Motorcycle Club.
Denny is survived by his wife Evelyn (Royal), daughter Rachelle (Kevin) Ash, Sydney, son Dennis (Anita Dearman), Middle Sackville, brother David, Sydney, grandchildren Justin, Ainsley, Jordan and Aunajaè White, Shayna, Bryce and Ryan Fifield. Denny is also survived by his brothers in the Highlanders Motorcycle Club.
Denny was predeceased by his sister Diane Jessome, brothers Keith, Lawrence and Philip.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday December 2,2021, at St. Theresa’s Hall, 285 St. Peter’s Road, Sydney, from 2 – 4 PM. A private prayer service will take place with John Evans officiating. Covid-19protocols will be followed. Proof of double vaccination, ID and Masks are mandatory.
Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
