We are heartbroken to announce the passing of the most amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and mentor too many. Born February 12, 1965 and passed away peacefully at home on the afternoon of Monday, June 14, 2021 surrounded by family and comforted by her loving husband Brent and daughters Carli and Amanda. Dawn will be heartfully missed by her parents Jim and Diane (nee Bandura) Miller, her sister Shari Ann Miller, nephews and nieces Christopher and Ira Betts, and Kevin, Laura and Emily Vickery. Her mother-in-law Lenora and her husband Doug, her brother-in-law Wade Vickery and his wife Linda, along with her grand niece, nephews and loving friends.
Dawn enjoyed many successes in life but she will be most remembered for her love of people and her constant heartfelt desire to help them no matter what challenges she faced in her own life. Her relationships with the people in her personal and business life always came from the heart. Her first love was people, her second was her orchids. She was an avid collector of scented orchids and spent many hours quietly tending to them. For those who would like to honour Dawn’s memory feel free to perform a random act of kindness for someone, a stranger, a friend, a loved one. That would make her happy.
Dawn also had a special place in her heart for women’s shelters, so if you would like to make a donation in her honour please do so to a women’s shelter in your area.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions a private service took place on Friday, June 18, 2021. A celebration of her incredible life will be held at a later date.
