Davina Joan Harmer
1929-2021
Harmer, Davina Joan (nee Spence) – Born June 13,
1929 in Galt, Ontario, died on Tuesday February 23, 2021, peacefully
at home in Cambridge, in her 92nd
year. Survived by her loving son Gordon.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Malcolm « Mac » Harmer in
1998. Davina was also predeceased by her parents Mary Ann
Spence (nee Williams) in 1983, and David Leask Spence in 1989, as well
as her brother Gordon « Chappie » Spence in 1995.
Davina enjoyed a career in the office at Allen Bradley for 15 years,
before retiring early to look after her mother. At
Davina’s request, cremation has taken place. She
will be laid to rest with her husband at Mount View Cemetery at a
later date.
