Obituary of David Savage
Peacefully at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday, October 11,2021 David Savage of St Eugene, Ontario passed away at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents James Savage and Helen Wright. Beloved husband of Lucette (nee Desautels). Father of Lisa Fournier (Albert). Dearly loved grandfather of Jacob and Jasmine Savage. Brother of Jim (Christine). Also survived by his in-laws; Jacques Desautels (Johanne), Suzanne Cabel (Gord) and Valerie Desautels (the late Richard). Fondly remembered by his cousin Pat Snyder (Don) and his nieces and nephews.
After three years in Air Force Dave worked as a technician for CTV in Toronto while he pursued his passion of flying, when he got accepted with Nordair in 1972 and retired with Air Canada.
His other passions were sailing, traveling by trailer and metalwork that kept his time during retirement.
A Private Family Service will be held.
