It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Colin Henry Watts (Kipper) who passed suddenly at home on Monday, July 12th 2021 in his 75th year of life. He was the devoted and loving Husband to the love of his life, Jacqueline (Kearns) for 51 years and the Father to Emma Watts and Michael Watts (Jamie-Lynn), and the Grandfather to his three Grandkids who he loved dearly Jake Mallory, Sydney and Jack Watts. He was survived by his sisters Brenda Armstrong (Martin) and Jeanette Wright (Paul), brother in law Jack Kearns (Deirdre) and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Colin was born in London, England and moved to Canada with Jacqueline in 1974 and established roots in Kingston, Ontario before moving to Mississauga working as a chemical engineer for Dupont Canada and eventually to Milton to be close to his family. He was well liked in the community as he was always up for a chat on his many visits to the grocery store or sitting on the porch chatting to neighbours or anyone who walked by as well his many hours in the local arenas watching his kids and grandkids. He was strongly devoted to his family making sure ever one was fed as he loved to cook and feed everyone and most recently looking after his kid’s dogs Cash and Winston as he was a devoted animal lover. He was an avid sports fan especially a lifelong supporter the Arsenal Football Club. Colin also had a passion for music and loved to share this with all and stories of who he saw while growing up in England. He will be fondly remembered by all who had the good fortune to know and will be forever missed by his family.
A small private ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 15 2021 in Milton at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home with a celebration of life to be held later. In lieu of flowers and if so desired please make a donation to the Milton District Hospital, Jumpstart for kids or the Oakville & Milton Humane Society.
