As a kipiitaih’pooka, he understood Blackfoot fluently and he had a special relationship with the kipiitaakiis. He considered Calgary his ‘home’ and lived his whole life there. He was a very competitive basketball player, leading to a City Championship with the PICSS high school basketball team. He had also attended a High School Basketball tournament in Denver, Colorado.
