Clarice’s Obituary
Goreham, Clarice Gertrude (Halliday) – 97, of Bay Side Home, formerly of Bear Point, went home to be with her Lord on June 1, 2021. Born on April 25, 1924, she was the only daughter of the late Bowman Wesley Halliday and Bessie May Langthorne of Shag Harbour. She leaves behind her daughter, Karen (Terry) Bourque, West Pubnico and son, Peter Goreham of Barrington; granddaughters, Rose d’Entremont, Yarmouth; Gail (David) Nickerson, Wilson Road, Tusket and Sonia (Rejean) Robitaille, Pitman Road, South Ohio; grandson, Jeffrey (Blair) Jeddrey , Halifax; great-grandchildren, Donovan, Desiree, Rejeanne, Arielle, Brody and Katie; great-great-grandchildren, Olivia, Milan, Ivy and Dawson. Besides her parents, Clarice was predeceased by her husband, Everett Albert Goreham. Mom lived a good long life and was so proud of all her family. She loved reading, sewing, gardening, gospel and country music. She looked forward to family visits and dinners. Mom was a quiet, gentle soul always had a smile and never complained. She was a very spunky lady and her memory was sharp as a tack.
We her family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at Bay Side Home for their compassion and care for our dear mother. You will always be remembered. May God bless you all!
