Christine Margot Cox of Tillsonburg passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the age of 68 years. Born in Tillsonburg on March 5, 1953 to the late Norman and Nona Byerlay. Christine lived in the Tillsonburg area her entire life. She attended Corinth Public School before going to Glendale High School. After high school Christine was the owner/operator of Christina’s Fashion Boutique in Tillsonburg, Ingersoll and Simcoe. She will be missed by her daughter Carianne Hall (Stuart) and her son Charles Cox. Grandmother to Cody Adcock, Cassidy Adcock, Carter Hall, Rebecca Cox, Randi Cox and Andrew Cox. Sister to Brian (Gina) and Kevin Byerlay. Christine will also be missed by her cousins, distant relatives, and close friends. Christine loved nature and being outdoors. She especially enjoyed the family cottage in Englehart on Lake St. Anthony. Her cats were adored as Christine loved all animals. She generously donated to the Humane Society and several cat rescue organizations. She enjoyed playing challenging games and to travel to various locations. Some of her favourite destinations were to Italy, Ireland and a Caribbean Cruise. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside will be held with close family members at a later date.
