It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Babin, 54, on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Carol passed away suddenly at Harbourstone Enhanced Care where she had just become a resident.
Born in Sydney, Carol was the daughter of Oswald and Bessie Babin, who predeceased her.
She is survived by her sisters, Jeanette and Elaine (Dave) and her brothers, James (Maureen) and Leonard (Deb).
She was predeceased by her sister, Joyce (Mac).
Carol will be remembered as a gentle soul who had a great love of country music. She had the opportunity to make many trips to Nashville over the years to see her favourite performers. Carol made friends wherever she went and will be missed.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner and Sydney Memorial Chapel for their kindness and compassion.
