1957-2021
Carl Robert Wilson, 63, of Riverside-Albert passed away
unexpectedly at his home on June 29th, 2021.
Carl was born in Riverside on December 21, 1957 the son of
the late Vincent and Audrey (Capson) Wilson.
Carl was a labourer and spent a lot of time working in the
woods. He was an avid hockey fan and always cheered for his
favorite team the Boston Bruins. Carl loved driving around
the community and seeing what was happening, always keeping up on the
news. He knew everyone’s cars as they drove by his house
when he was sitting on his deck. Most importantly
he loved spending time with his family. Carl and Joanne have
been together for 36 years and her family became his and they were
very close and he was there for them whenever they needed
anything. The grandchildren were his pride and joy
and his face would light up whenever they were around. He
also got to know his great granddaughter who he enjoyed
teasing and spending time with. His smile and that big grin
will be missed by all who knew him. We will remember all the
good times.
He will be deeply missed by his spouse, Joanne Beck;
step-daughters, Sandy Spinney (Pat) of St. Martins and Tammy Beck
(Graham) of Alma; step-son, Jamie Beck of Riverside-Albert; his
grandchildren, Kristen (Kyle), Jorden, Mitchell, Chase, Noah and
Hailey and his precious great-granddaughter, Sadie; sisters, Lana
Wilson (Peter) of Alma and Susan Morrisey (Michael) of
Riverside-Albert; brother, Greg Wilson (Heather) of Shepody.
He will also be missed by all of his extended family and friends, the
Edgett family; special aunt, Judy Goguen and by several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother,
Reginald; sister, Ruth Kennie and niece, Crissy
Kennie.
There will be a public visitation at the Albert County
Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-9 with COVID-19 restrictions
still in place. A private Memorial Service and Celebration
of his life will be held at the funeral home at a later date with
Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be in the
Mountain View Cemetery, Lower Cape, NB.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a Living Memorial to help
the family would be greatly appreciated.
