It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Carl J. Crews of Fortune announces his passing. Carl passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 11th, 2021, at the age of 79.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Jane of 59 years; son in-law, Charles Ashford of Ontario; daughter in-law, Marylou Crews of Mount Pearl; granddaughter, Krysta (Robert) of Ontario; grandson, Morgan (McKaylia) of Mount Pearl; brothers, Harry (Vera), Aubrey (Emily), Gerald (Daisy), Max (Gloria); sisters, Ida, Marina, Joan (John); brothers in-law, Jim Dunne (Audrey), Claude Dunne (Linda), David (Darlene); sisters in-law, Minnie Monster (Charles), Kay Mavin (Philip), Helen Rolls (Gerald); plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Carl was predeceased by daughter, Maxine; son, Claude; grandsons, Tristan & Alex; parents, Harry & Daisy Crews; sisters, Alma, Emily; brothers, Walter, Nathan; parents in-law, Claude & Susie Dunne.
The Crews Family will be accepting visitors at All Saints Anglican Chapel on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Monday, September 13th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Monday, September 13th, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will take place at All Saints Anglican Church on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery.
In Carl’s memory donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church or a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
