Captain Roy’s Obituary
It is with sadness that the family of the late Major Walter Roy Wiseman announces his passing at the Carmelite Palliative Care Unit, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 88 years.
Walter leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Julia; sons, Byron (Linda), & Terry (Christy); daughters, Cindy (James) Weir, Denise (Jeff) Noel, & Carol Anne (Bram) Sacrey; grandchildren, Trevor, Jennifer, Adam, Corey, Caitlyn, Julia, Stephanie, Christopher (Jill), Jillian (David), Emily, Stephen (Shannon), & Trina. ; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vera Poirier, & Florence Smart; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Walter is predeceased by his parents, Herbert, & Emily Wiseman; brothers-in-law, Al Smart, & Edward Poirier.
In keeping with the COVID-19 restrictions there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will remain private for the family.
