Cameron, Judith Ann
Judith died peacefully on the evening of November 7, 2021 in Meaford Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in London, Ontario on September 19, 1936, a daughter of the late Edythe and Don McCallum.
Judith was the eldest sister of Nan Bell and Bruce McCallum (Virginia), mother of Jennifer, Barbara, Andrew (Janette) and Heather Cameron. She will be fondly remembered by Scott Cameron.
Affectionately loved by grandchildren Eric (Felicia), Levi, Eve (Ryan), Elliott and Charlie. Proud great grandma to Gabriel, Bridget and Griffin. Wonderful aunt to Mark, Chris, Matthew, Cameron and Geoff.
Mom enjoyed many Lake Huron beach days and sunsets during family summer vacations at Bruce Beach. She pursued her interest in nursing, graduating in 1957 from Victoria Hospital School of Nursing in London, Ontario. Judith kept closely connected with her classmates throughout her adult life. With her sister Nan, she explored the Highlands of Scotland several times to reconnect to her Scottish ancestral roots and create many hilarious adventures. Judith was an RN by profession, balancing home and work life. Her friends and family were the lucky beneficiaries of her kind-heartedness and warmth. She loved to sing, play cards, First Nations drum songs, Pow Wows and the bagpipes. Mom loved her Meaford community. According to her wishes, Judith will be cremated and when circumstances permit, a celebration of laughter and song will be held.
