It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Calvin Ross Goit, age 83, at his home on Friday, December 3, 2021, with his beloved wife Pam Goit (Steinhaus) and family by his side. Loving father of Bryan, Shelley (Jim) and Rhonda, and step-father of Matthew (Tiedra) and Wendy (Steve). Cherished Grandpa of Adam (Amy), Kyle, and Claire (Curtis), and step Papa to Kaylyn, Ethan, Elijah, and Everleigh. Treasured great-grandfather of Brooke, Hunter and Theo. Dear brother of Brenda Westlake. Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Bernice Goit.
Special thank you to Dr. Cassandra Taylor, Nancy, and Dr. Orla MacSweeney for their care, and to the Bayshore Nurses and PSW’s, Community Care, Paramedics and care partners. A very special thanks to our friend Gerry Cole for always being there for Cal.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Cal’s wishes, no services will be held. Interment will take place at a later date in Caistorville Cemetery, Caistorville, ON. The family would appreciate donations made to St. Joseph’s Hospice or Salvation Army (cheques only at the funeral home please).
