It is with deep sadness to announce that on April 25, 2021, Real (Ray) Cadrin has passed away at the age of 74.
Real will be greatly missed by his three children, Andrea Devost (Brent), Marc (Terry), and Jeremy; and five grandchildren, Jett, Evan, and Grace Devost; and Eugene and Renee Cadrin.
Real leaves behind 14 siblings: Raymonde Leroux, Marcel (Lilo), Gilles (Dolores), Andre (Jackie), Jean-Marc (Yolande), Celine (Wayne) Johnson, Guy (Priscille), Gaetan (Holly), Suzanne (Jim) Rollison, Bernard (Claire), Jean-Claude, Richard (Chris), Marielle Watson, Gary Bowen (Brenda Bruns); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Liz, brother-in-law Robert Leroux, sister-in-law Armande, and parents Leonidas Cadrin and Adrienne Cadrin (née Breton).
In partnership Ray owned and operated the Purdie Denture Clinic. Over many years he excelled at his craft making quality dentures for his clients. Outside of work he enjoyed gardening, with a special interest in growing the best tomatoes. His other favorite activity involved playing hockey with an old timer hockey team along with many of his siblings.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
