Obituary of Bruce Skelhorn
SKELHORN, Bruce Norman – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the age of 79 years.
Bruce Skelhorn of Petawawa, beloved husband and best friend of 59 years to Marie Skelhorn (nee Raymond). Dear father of Jeff (Tracy) Skelhorn, Guelph; Carl Skelhorn, Petawawa; Colleen (Darrin) Lucciola, Belleville & Trent (Amanda) Skelhorn, Renfrew. Grandpa to Kayla, Ashley, Nicholas, Noah, Tate, Gage & Landon. Great-grandpa to Joshua & Julian. Predeceased by parents John & Rose Skelhorn (nee Schweedic), and by sister Joann Hale. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and nurses on the Second Floor Medical at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care shown to Bruce over the last two weeks.
Respecting Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will take place at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
