Gourley, Brian – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, surrounded by loved ones, Brian passed away on Monday, July 26th, 2021 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay in his 68th year. Brian was predeceased by his father Thomas Gourley, mother Mary Gourley, and his brothers Philip and George (Dorothy). He is survived by his wife Carolyn, and his children Timothy (Laura) and Sarah (Kevin), and his grandchildren Suraya, Alexandra, and Amanda. Brian’s sisters and brothers, Adelaide (David), Tommy (Joan), Clifford (Jackie), Dorothy (Sam), Catherine (David), and Ian (Julie). The family would like to thank the health care professionals who provided such kindness, exceptional care, and support during Brian’s time in the ICU at Ross Memorial. Their daily compassion and caring for Carolyn at Brian’s bedside each day, was very much appreciated. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, July 30th, from 12:00p.m. to 12:30p.m. with the service following. Reception to follow. Procession will commence at 2:30 to the Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay where Brian will be laid to rest.
