Obituary for
Bernie Wheesk
It is with great sadness the family announces Bernie’s passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the age of 62 years. Beloved son of Annie and John Weesk. Dear brother of Clara Wheesk, Morris Wheesk (Lindsey Mckay) and François Wheesk. He will be greatly missed by his niece and nephews especially Trevor and Tobias Tobicoe and Amadeus Wheesk as well as his great-nephews and great-niece who he adored. He will also be missed by his uncle, aunts and numerous cousins.
Shortly after graduating high school Bernie began his mining career and worked at various mines across the country up until his illness.
As per Bernie’s wishes, he will be cremated and no visitation will be planned. A private service with family and Bernie’s close friends will take place in Spring 2022. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON
