Obituary
Barry was born in Prince Rupert to of Josiah & Elizabeth Miners. After Barry moved to Smithers he worked for Groot’s Sawmill, Telkwa tree nurseries and was part of the forest fire fighting seasonal crew.
Barry was a member of the Smithers dart club and very much enjoyed playing darts at the Legion. His card games with his family were always a fun time which he enjoyed.
Barry definitely enjoyed his walking and could be seen with his back-pack walking all over town. Barry was the youngest of five brothers. He was predeceased by his brothers, Brent and Brian, as well as his parents. He is survived by his brothers Bob (Bernie) and Don (Tina); sister-in-law Sharon; nieces and a nephew.
Barry had many struggles in his later years but through it all he enjoyed life. He had good friends whom he loved hanging out with at his apartment complex. Barry was kind and had a positive attitude.
We will miss Barry but know he is at peace and resting.
