Barbara M (nee Reid) Harnish
77, It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara “Barb” Harnish announces that she passed away at South Shore Regional Hospital on Sunday August 8th, 2021 at the age of 77. Though she was born in Halifax Barbara was a long-time resident of Mill Cove. She worked for National Sea Products for over 30 years.
Those close to Barb knew her to be a private person who loved spending time with her family, enjoyed doing puzzles, attending local seniors’ lunches, and going on her daily walks.
Barbara is survived by her husband Marcus Harnish; her children Steven (Wanda) Reid, Clarissa (Brian) Coolen, Dardennell (Sueann) Harnish, her step-children Cathy (Brent) Haase, and John (Annette) Harnish, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In keeping with Barbara’s wishes a private family service was held on August 11, 2021.
