Barbara Enid Smith

Barbara was born August 17, 1943 in Winnipeg and passed away February 8, 2021 at River Park Gardens.
Barb was predeceased by her parents. She was much loved and dearly missed by her husband Gerald; sons Louis (Shelley) and Denis (Donna); step-sons Douglas (Krista), David (Shannon) and Roger (Linda); grandson Jamie; granddaughters Amber, Cassandra, Katie, Amanda and Ashley; and sister Kit (Don).
Barb was a member of CGIT and the Winnipeg Girls Choir in her younger years. She was part owner (Manager) of the Needle and Hook Nook where she sold embroidery supplies, sewing machines and knitting machines. She was a member and past president of the Winnipeg Embroiderers Guild.
In the past few years she was ill with Parkinson disease and dementia. We are thankful for the care and kindness of the staff at River Park Gardens and at Cornish 2 of Misericordia Hospital.
