Barbara E. Dow
1929-2021
Barbara E. Dow passed away peacefully at Lincourt Manor, St
Stephen, NB on Monday, January 18, 2021.
Born in Milltown, NB on October 27, 1929, daughter of the
late Wilbur and Charlotte (Caswell) McKay.
Barbara is survived by one sister, Sara Burns, three sons:
John (Sandra); Harold (Linda); Daniel (Elaine); one daughter Betty
(Philip) Christie, one stepdaughter Carole (Dale) Haney, two stepsons:
Kenneth (Sharon)Dow, and James (Gloria) Dow, fourteen grandchildren,
fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, as well
as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband of 52 years, Jack M. Dow, and three brothers: Wilbur
(Christine) McKay, Philip (Ella) McKay and Richard
(Harriet)McKay.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no public
visitation or funeral service held.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Barbara
may be made to Lincourt Manor or a charity of one’s choice.
