Anne was a tower of quiet strength to all that knew her; she gave only love and encouragement, even in the most difficult of times. She loved planting her garden and flowers every spring, canning and making delicious Ukrainian based meals that were greatly appreciated by all. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Thank you to the dedicated staff at the Bar-V-Nook Manor for Anne’s care over the last two and a half years. Many thanks to Anne’s special angel in this world, Joan Murphy and her family, who have been at Anne’s side for over 30 years.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private service and burial will be held at the St. Elias Orthodox Church, Pakan on Saturday, June 19. In lieu of flowers or other tributes, please consider a donation in Anne’s memory to St. Elias Orthodox Church, Box 327, Smoky Lake, AB, T0A-3C0.
