Anne Byer
May 03, 2021

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Anne Byer on Monday, May 3, 2021 with her loving daughter Vonnie at her side; the twins have been caring for mom for the past several months. She will now be with her loving husband George.
Mom was very involved with the Moose Lodge, if it was a special occasion Anne would be in the kitchen helping to prepare the meal for all who attended and then she would help with the Sunday morning breakfasts.
Mom loved to knit, crochet and she has made several cross stitch pictures for her loving family. She always had homemade cookies in her special cookie jar for us to enjoy. Mom’s greatest joy was getting together with family. There was little that she wouldn’t do for anyone, always putting family and family‘s needs first; she was loved and will be missed by all the lives she touched. Grandma Byer will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Anne is survived by her children Joan (Don) McMillan, Curtis (Dawn) Byer , Vonnie (Ron) Major, Connie (Ted) Hunt and Dwayne (Tracey) Byer, grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place and the family service will be held at a later date.
Should friends so desire, donations can be made to DRHC Foundation through Stevens Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 412, Dryden P8N 2Z1. Condolences may be posted on Stevens Funeral Homes Facebook page or at www.stevensfuneralhomes.ca.
