In Loving Memory of Ann Newton
Our cherished mother passed away on Monday, October 11th, 2021. She was born March 24, 1936, the daughter of the late Roy Newton and the late Myrtle Potter and mother of Susan (Mike), Douglas (Phet), and Gail and grandchildren Mitchell, Julie-Ann, Jason, Jessica and Piyachet as well as 7 great grandchildren.
She was such a wonderful mother. She was light hearted, had a great sense of humour and laughed often enjoying the simple things in life. We miss her deeply and she will be remembered in our hearts and memories forever.
Mom lived most of her life on the family farm on the Lièvre River in L’Ange Gardien, Quebec (formerly Buckingham), our family homestead for six generations. In March 2020 she made the very difficult decision to leave the farm that she loved to move to a retirement home.
We would like to thank the staff at Kemptville Retirement Living and the Kemptville District Hospital for their compassion and care.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Buckingham, Quebec.
