Anatalia (de Torres) Grewal passed away peacefully on the evening of December 7th, 2021 at Health Science Center. She was 71 years old.
Naty is survived by her husband Jasbirinder (Jassie); her son Darwin (Amanda, Dane, and Olivia); and daughter Pam (Mark, Alexis, Kyan, Chloe, and Dylan).
Naty was born in Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines on July 3rd 1950 to Primitivo and Teofista. She was the eldest of seven children: Emen (Conrad) Beth (predeceased) (Nilo), Abbey (Flor), Aida (Leni), Cristina, and Ruby (Kyle).
She studied at Batangas South Western College as an administrative secretary. She left Philippines when she was 19 for England. There, she met the love of her life, Jassie.
She came home with Jassie, introduced him to the family and they got married on January 8th, 1975.
They travelled for a bit before they settled in Winnipeg in 1974. There they started their family. Darwin was born on October 17, 1977. Four years later they welcomed Pam on March 16, 1981. After having Dar and Pam, she went back to work at the Health Science Center, until she retired in 2005.
Having regular gatherings with family and friends at home made her heart so full. Her joyful singing always lit up the party. Her smile and infectious laugh will forever be missed by all her loved ones.
