Obituary of Allan Bennett, Glace Bay
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Bennett, age 64 of Glace Bay on Monday, April 12th, 2021 at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Ben and Jane (Penney) Bennett.
Allan enjoyed helping out around the yard and in his younger years used to love bicycling.
He is survived by his brothers, Garfield, Leo, Mike, Gerry and his sisters, Thelma, Annie and Gloria.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his two brothers, Benny and Bill.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Glace Bay Hospital.
A private visitation only will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.
Interment to take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations in Allan’s memory may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center.
