Allan Bishop
December 12, 1932 – January 22, 2021
Passed peacefully away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Carbonear General Hospital with his loving family at his bedside, Allan Bishop of Green’s Harbour, aged 88 years.
Predeceased by his wife, Venus; daughter, Cavell; mother, Pearl and step-father, Alfred; brothers, James and Stanley; parents-in-law, Phoebe and Victor Cooper.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories are daughters, Glenda (George) Wareham, Green’s Harbour, Gail (John) Way, Harbour Grace, and son, Tony (Rita) Bishop, Green’s Harbour; grandchildren, Justin (Krista) Wareham, Mark (Felicia) Wareham, Shane (Rita) Wareham, Nicholas Bishop (Stephanie), and Jessica Way (Bradley); great-grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, Anderson, Liam, Emmalee, Charlotte, and Adeline; sisters-in-law, Jessie Brace, Hazel Cooper, and Nellie Bishop; brother-in-law, Varrick (Margie) Cooper and Lemuel Cranford; as well as a large number of extended family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Shagrock Manor and to the staff on the 6th floor at the Carbonear General Hospital.
Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, the visitation and service to celebrate Allan’s life will be private.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Allan’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Green’s Harbour.
