Albert Robichaud
1927-2021
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Albert Robichaud 93, of Foyer Lisa
Allain in Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.
Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Monday, May 17,
2021. Born in Pointe-Sapin, he was the son of the late
Olivier Robichaud and late Barbara Jane (Daigle) Robichaud.
Before retiring, he was a fisherman, painter and
woodsman.
Albert will be sadly missed by his son, Yvon Robichaud
(Geneva Latour) of Moncton; one granddaughter, Danielle Connelly and
one great granddaughter, Adeline Louise
Connelly.
He is also survived by one sister, Lauzia O’Brian
(late Peter) of Rexton; one brother, Raymond Robichaud (Imelda) of St.
Antoine and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ida
(Arsenault) Robichaud; five sisters, Exina, Victorine, Amanda, Cecile,
Leona and two brothers, Delphis and Nazaire.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Friday at 1:00 pm until departure for the
funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May
21, 2021 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in
Richibucto.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time
are allowed in the funeral home. Masks are mandatory and we ask that
social distancing be respected.
