Beloved Nonno of Alana (Kevin Desloges) Matteo, Luca, Ella, Ava, Gia, and Dante.
Sadly missed by his many siblings and in-laws, nieces and nephews in Canada and overseas.
Agostino travelled throughout Italy and Switzerland in his youth working as a cement finisher. At age 31, he and his young family immigrated to Sudbury for a new beginning. As his family grew, he was blessed to pass on many of his Italian traditions to his 4 children which included speaking Italian/calabrese, growing a bountiful garden, and family gatherings making sauce, salami, and of course, vino.
Although he was proud of his four children obtaining post-secondary education, Agostino enjoyed passing on his values of a strong work ethic to his grandchildren.
There will be no visitations, only private celebration with immediate family.
Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
