Obituary for
Adolph Wirachowsky
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Adolph Wirachowsky, of Mayerthorpe, AB, formerly of Carstairs, AB, on May 25, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Adolph will be loved and deeply missed by son, Dan (Cathy); daughters, Pam, Barb (Leonard), Linda (Cory) and Fran (Brian); grandchildren, Sandra (Roman), Lisa, Susan, Melissa, Corey (April), Natasha (Tina), Kayla, Christina (Anthony), Deanna (Lenard), Doug (Alana) and Hayden; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Adolph is also survived by his sister, Betty; brother, Simon; sisters-in-law, Rose, Bertha, Doreen, Pat and Gisa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Adolph was predeceased by his beloved wife of 37 years, Florence; parents, Katie and Tony; son-in-law, Eddie; brothers, Arnold, Andrew and Leo; sisters, Johanna and Leona; brothers-in-law, Martin, Larry, Meinrod, Len, John, Matt, Jack and Bud; sisters-in-law, Isabelle, Freda, Frances, Rose, Betty and Rosemarie.
The family thanks Dr. Jamal and the amazing staff at Mayerthorpe Extendicare; your care and compassion are second to none and each of you made a difficult time so much easier.
A Catholic Graveside Service will be livestreamed on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Jaya Rajan officiating; Adolph will be laid to rest at South Park Cemetery, Sangudo, AB. To view the service, select webcasting from the menu on this page.
