It is with great sadness and love that the family of Aaron Gropper announces his passing, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Aaron was the beloved husband of Rachel Kruger, to whom he was married for sixty years. He was the adored father and father-in-law of Karen and Robbie Bloom, and Laurie and Elliott Zeitz. His five grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, and Hannah Bloom; and Joshua and Noah Zeitz, were his pride and joy, he was always their « pal ». Son of the late Morris and the late Fanny Gropper. Brother and brother-in-law of Queenie and the late Gaby Grosz, and predeceased by his sister, Sarah Gropper. Brother-in-law of Donna and the late Joey Kruger. He will be warmly remembered by his family and many friends for being such a kind, funny and generous man. Aaron was the truest embodiment of the term Mensch. His passions were golf, tennis, fressing and, most of all, his family. Aaron’s career took him from social work at Neighbourhood House to corporate human resources, always mentoring and counselling everyone he met. The family would like to thank Dr. Esfahani and the many doctors and nurses who treated Aaron for their professional and compassionate care. A private graveside service to take place. Shiva private.
