Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex, St. John’s on June 25, 2020, Wilfred Ivany, age 97. Predeceased by parents: Martin and Lucy Ivany; sisters: lrene Dalton (Jim); Muriel Bowring (Stuart); Eleanor Stone (Edward); Hilda Morris;brothers: Harold; Lewis (Madonna).
Leaving to mourn with fond memories are his loving wife Ada; daughter Elaine (Boyd Gibbons); sisters-in-law: Gertie Day; Evelyn Goulding (Jesse);Ivy Martin (Charlie); Hazel Marsh (Fred); Florence Clarke (Harold); Dallas Adams (John); Melvie George; Pearl George; Brother-in-law: Aaron Morris as well as many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Donations in his memory are gratefully accepted to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Britannia
Funeral service will take place from the United Church Cemetery, Britannia on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2 pm.
