Ted (Charles Edward) McDonald died peacefully surrounded by family in Victoria, BC, on December 8, 2020. He is survived by three sons, Russ of Kelowna, John Edward of North Vancouver and David of Surrey; five grandchildren, Melanie, Graeme, Victoria, Keegan, Max; nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded by his loving wife of 40 years Joan (nee Sauder) McDonald who passed in 2005.
Ted was born in Calgary, Alberta and attended Olds College and the University of Alberta. In the early 1960s, he moved to Victoria where he met his wife Joan, started a family and engaged in a successful career in pharmaceutical sales and entrepreneurship prior to retirement.
Ted would like to be remembered by friends and family as an integral and involved part of his community. He was a Probus club member who enjoyed the regular social events and guest speakers.
