It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sam Lundholm of Vermilion. Sam passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in the Vermilion Health Centre at the age of 88 years. Sam will be forever loved and deeply missed by his Loving Wife of 65 years Alma Lundholm; 3 Daughters Susan McCutcheon of Vermilion, Peggy (Harry) Zicker of Lloydminster, and Laurie Bardoel of Parksville, B.C.; Son-in-law John Bardoel of Vermilion; Grandchildren Ashley (Kyle) Crocker, Dustin McCutcheon, Christopher… Read More » (Cora) Zicker, Jordan Zicker, Cody Zicker, Chelsea Zicker, Carmen (Sheldon) Wandler, Brandie Bardoel (Jens), and Robyn (Rich) Armstrong; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Granddaughter; Nieces Inge and Birte of Denmark; as well as his extended family.
Sam was predeceased by his Parents Peter and Helga Lundholm; Son-in-law Dale McCutcheon; Granddaughter Julie Bardoel; and Grandson in-law Warren Haverslew.
In keeping with Sam’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
If so desired donations in memory of Sam may be made to Friends of Vermilion Health Centre, Alberta Kidney Foundation or charity of donor’s choice.
