Obituary
Shirley passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, in the arms of her daughters and in the presence of her loved ones.
She is survived by her children, Edward (Donna) Van Horn, Jeanette Franson, Terri Van Horn, Cheryl (Paul) Johnston; grandchildren, Brittany Wachtler, Kimberly Franson, Gregory Franson, Jamie Morton, Theresa Sheehan, Jordan Franson, Paige Van Horn, Carmen Van Horn, Elizabeth Johnston, Kiersten Johnston and Sean Johnston; nine great grandchildren; her close friend, Milford Johnston and nine siblings.
A Daughter, a Sister, a Wife, a Mother, a Grandma (Nana) and a Friend to so many. You were compassionate and caring. You influenced and inspired others to be the best version of themselves. You taught us to stand strong for what is right and to persevere; to live purposefully with integrity and honesty; to show unconditional love for others and to be able to forgive.
She was strong, versatile and overcame any challenge she encountered. From building, to sewing, to crafting, to cooking, she could do it all. Her support and encouragement will always reside in everyone she touched. She will be forever missed but her memory will always remain in our hearts.
We will love you forever.
