Gilliss, Sandra Joan (MacKenzie)
The sudden passing of Sandra Joan (MacKenzie) Gilliss, of Chatham, NB, occurred on Monday, January 6, 2020 at her home. Born on March 4, 1959 in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Atkinson) MacKenzie.
Sandra was survived by her sons, Brad (Lindsay) Gilliss of Napan, NB and Dean (Jennie) Gilliss of Fredericton, NB and their father, Brian Gilliss of Napan, NB; her grandchildren, Ryan (his mother, Ruth Ann LeBlanc), Lauren, Archer, Harvey and Scarlett Gilliss; her sisters, Dianne MacKenzie of Chatham, NB, Donna MacKenzie of Napan, NB, Elizabeth “Beth” MacKenzie of Nelson, NB, Patti MacKenzie (Stacy MacPherson) of Napan, NB and Christine MacKenzie of Napan, NB; her nieces and nephews, Shannon (Kevin), Charmayne and Will. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Aaron Gilliss and her grandson, Grady Gilliss, infant sister Susan Jean.
At Sandra’s request there will be no public visitation or funeral service held, a private family gathering was held at Adams Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
