E. Charlene Watson
The death of Eloise Charlene Watson of Knoxford, NB occurred suddenly on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at her home. Born April 29, 1936 in Connell, NB she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Prosser) McAffee. She was also predeceased by 2 siblings, Marion Peterson and Avis Reid.

Mom’s life was full of adventure and she loved to travel. As a young Armed Forces family, their travels took them to Ontario and then two postings in Germany. She loved her family unconditionally and prayed faithfully for each one. Music was such an important part of her life, and she wrote beautiful songs that she recorded and these songs have touched the lives of hundreds of people.

Charlene is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Alton; 4 children, Elaine Duplessis (Johnson), Stephen Watson (Wendy), Pam Phillips (Neil) and Jeff Watson (Catherine); 11 grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Joel, Ian, Ben, Ashley, Bryce, Sophie, Jillian, Karina, Cassandra; 13 great grandchildren, Noah, Rebekah, Emilie, Lexi, Luke, Colby, Gavin, Lydia, Jack, Sam, Leland, Myles, Leena; 7 siblings, Norma York, Floyd McAffee (Lois), Jack McAffee (Joy), Judy Davenport (Geary), Allan McAffee (Beverly), Carmen McAffee (Mary), Oral McAffee (Susan), as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from Calvary Tabernacle, 12 Legion St., Perth Andover on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Respecting Covid - 19 regulations social distancing is required, and pleased be prepared to wear a mask if necessary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 11:00 am from the church. Rev. D.T. Ferrell and Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. The interment will be in the Lower Knoxford Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the Foreign Missions at Calvary Tabernacle would be appreciated.

A special thank you to Dr. David Bell for his faithful care through the years. To Shelly Hunter, who went above and beyond in her extra-mural care and concern for Mom; we are eternally grateful.
