Roy Samuel Smith
1947-2020
The death occurred at his home on Thursday, December 24, 2020
of Roy Samuel Smith of O’Leary aged 73. Roy was born in West
Point on June 3, 1947, son of the late Clarence and Birdie
(MacWilliams) Smith.
Cherished dad to Nancy (Carter) Betts, Glenwood
and Connie (Stanley) Rayner. Loving grandfather to Kiah, Christian,
Keira, Cassandra and Breanna. Dear brother to Deborah (Garnet)
Dumville, O’Leary; Lloyd (Janet), West Cape; David
(Shirley), Howlan; Francis, Barbara, West Point; Stephen, Glenwood and
Lorna Alberton. Brother in law to Sharon Smith, Knutsford and Elmer
Dumville, West Point.
Roy was predeceased by his parents, brother
Walter and sister Hazel Dumville.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private family
visiting hours and funeral service to be held on Wednesday. Interment
to follow in West Point Presbyterian Cemetery.
