Rosemary Jennifer Arnaud Arnaud Wednesday October 28th 2020 avis de deces

Rosemary Jennifer Arnaud
Rosemary Jennifer Arnaud was born August 31, 1961 in Mombasa, Kenya.
She was predeceased by her adoptive mother Hilda. Left to morn are her adoptive siblings, Phil, Mavis, Richard, Gerald, Oliver, Ashley, Leo, Steven, Shirley and her loving brother and friend Bernard. Rosemary also leaves behind her three children, Kevin (Priscilla), Gwen (Todd) and Darren (Stephanie); grandchildren Emily, Jase, Oakley, Alexa, Austin and Finley as well her foster family The Ouellette Family and her dearest friend Paulette.
Rosemary was an especially loving mother, grandmother and friend to many in her community. She brought joy to the lives of all those she touched.
Rosemary came to Canada at the age of 10 years having lived in both Kenya as an infant and London, England as a young child. Rosemary was raised from the age of 10 years in Winnipeg and enjoyed good times and overcame the challenges of life to become a successful and kind hearted woman.
Rosemary had a natural ability to nurture those in need. This special ability and her love of children led her to foster and babysit. Shortly after becoming a foster care provider, she transitioned to her true calling of caring for adults with disabilities. Rosemary gave all of herself to ensure that her wards were happy and loved. Rosemary had the biggest of hearts and a desire to help the vulnerable. She was compassionate towards everyone she met and was generous and giving, bright and full of love and laughter. Rosemary always had an open heart and an open home.
Rosemary loved to travel with her friend Paulette and could find laughter and joy in most any situation. She enjoyed meeting new people and seeing the sights. Rosemary was especially proud of obtaining her Canadian citizenship and receiving her Canadian passport. She had hoped that with her passport in hand that she and Paulette would travel the world.
Rosemary had been recently diagnosed with an aggressive and untreatable form of cancer and after a short battle with the disease, she passed away peacefully at Riverview Care Centre on October 28th, 2020 with friend Paulette and her son Darren by her side.
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgive each other, just as Christ God forgave you.”
We will forever miss you, Rosemary. Beautiful mother, mammy, friend and champion to all those who needed you.
A special thank-you to all the staff at Riverview Health Centre who assisted Rosemary in her final days as well as the kind and understanding people at MAiD.
